What's your G.P.A.?

Greenfields Performing Arts Department offers many ways for students to showcase their talents.  These students participate in dance-offs,  march in parades, perform at carnivals and compete competitively with other students in Bakersfield. To qualify for a performing arts schedule students must maintain a 2.0-grade point average, attend the after-school program regularly, and be a positive influence on our student body. The Performing Arts Department at GMS includes the following disciplines:

Cheerleading: Students cheer at athletic events, dance at community showcases, and compete in PPAACC.

Color Guard A Team: Marches in a parade, performs at community showcases, & competes in lower division PPAACC.

Drama: Students work together to put on a  drama production.

Dance: Students work together to create a dance routine to perform for the program.

While it is possible to be a Performing Arts student and an Athletics student, it requires dedication to maintaining peak performance in both areas. Please consider this before auditioning for a Performing Arts Discipline.
