The first RED RIBBON Celebration was organized in 1986 by a grassroots organization of parents concerned about the destruction caused by alcohol, tobacco, and drug use. The campaign has reached millions of children and has been recognized by the U.S. Congress. To celebrate, we will be playing music all three lunch periods, provide an opportunity for students to sign a pledge to be drug and alcohol free, give away some bracelets and pencils, and raffle off some cool prizes! We'll also let students and staff members dress up to support the different RRW themes throughout the week
